Health & Safety
In School District 60, we ensure student safety by working with parents and guardians and inter-Ministry partners to create plans for students with specific medical needs. An important part of this process is training provided to school-based personnel on supporting students who experience an impact on learning due to a medical concern, how to recognize key symptoms, and learn what to do in an emergency.
School Physician Communication Form
Working with our Ministry of Education colleagues, we have significantly updated our school physician communication form.
The following documents may be helpful for pediatricians and family physicians on assessing students with learning difficulties.
